Oxxxymiron

Born in St. Petersburg, Russian Federation on January 31, 1985 (today he is 32 years old)

The singer with the stage name Oxxxymiron has a real name Miron Yanovich Fedorov - a Russian and British hip-hop artist. Music performer Oxxxymiron describes his songs as combining mud, combative hip-hop hardcore, combative rap and alternative, abstract hip-hop. Okshimiron was born in Leningrad, USSR (now St. Petersburg, Russia) in 1985 to a Jewish-Russian family, his father was a physicist and his mother was a librarian. In 1994, his family moved from Russia to Germany, where his father got a job, and in 2000 to the UK. Miron grew up listening mainly to Soviet rock bands from 1980 such as Aquarium, Civil Defense and Yanka Diaghilev, but at one point while in Germany, at the age of 13, he became interested in hip-hop culture and began writing rap songs to Russia to your friends. In the UK, Miron entered and graduated from Oxford University in philology, but could not find a job due to retraining. There, influenced by the local London dirt and the British garage scene, he continued his hip-hop activities with a group of other Russian immigrants and took part in the Russian rap battles at hip-hop.ru. After gaining popularity in the Russian hip-hop community via the Internet due to its rich vocabulary, ingenious tricks, intellectualism and complex rhymes, Miron visited Russia and Ukraine in 2009 and became one of the most popular Russian hip-hop artists. He has released two albums since 2015, as well as two mixtapes, first with his early songs in the era of the internet battle (many of which use other artists' instrumental instruments), and secondly with the latest singles. Myron is also known for his performances in battle raps at Versus Battle, and his 2015 battle with Johnyboy amazed one million views in one day on YouTube. Almost all of Oksimiron's performances on the YouTube channel provide an opportunity to view an unlimited number of times. Oxxxymiron lives in Russia now, in his hometown of St. Petersburg. He cites Big Ls, Guetta, Devlin, Madhild (from other groups), Eminem and Kool Savas as his favorite rappers, as well as H.P. Lovecraft, Andrei Platonov, William S. Burroughs, J.R. Tolkien, and Aleister Crowley as influential authors.
